Default tein coilovers

problem fitting tein super street coilovers any help!
how do u adjust the whole shock height top to bottom i cant get them on the back the camber bolt brackets dont line up there about 20mm to low so i need to make the shock shorter! do i have to take tension off the spring and raise the adjustable collar upwards i think inturn this might push the shock in making the whole thing shorter!
any help please

Get both wheels off the ground at the same time or the ARBs will make the job impossible

I encountered the same problem when I fitted Super Streets a few months ago. Jack the car up so both wheels hang clear of the ground and that will take the tension out of the ARB. Then they will go on.

Yes front as well. The spring won't turn once the weight of the car compresses it. You'll need to wind the lock rings up the threads to adjust the ride height or your car will hit the bump stops on all but the smoothest roads. You can do this once the coilovers are fitted. You might want to check the centre nut on top of the strut is fully tightened too, as mine were quite slack.

to turn the collar upwards towards the top of the strut is quit difficult should i use a spring compressor while doing that!
