How to find out what my cars paint code is?

All the paperwork I have for it just says 'blue'.

By the looks of things there is a few blue colours for 2000 reg Impreza's

On the vin plate will be a colour code.

mine was under bonnet passenger side on a silver plate says paint code then your code number should be there mines UK spec tho worth a look
