TD04 hybrid and trick up pipe?
I am thinking of getting a hybrid TD04 for my 05 wagon; it seems to be perfect for daily, real world driving, and I am not chasing bhp. My question is, will a trick up pipe be a good mod with this turbo, or is it unnecessary with such a small, quick spooling turbo? I plan to change the up pipe anyway, to remove the cat, but may just use an sti one if that`s what you all suggest. Are there any other supporting mods needed, apart from a re map? I am stage 1 at the moment. Thanks.

I'm doing the same conversion, i think it will be the best value for money conversion for a daily road car. I've read thats also a lot of peoples experience after having a hybrid.
It really depends on how much you want to do, how far you want to go, going catless will help in everyway!
Take a look at this guide, all stages are tried and tested, and is from a VERY reputable tuner.

Good luck with it all :-)
