Default Drill weld injectors? is it worth it?

Hi guys,

Question really, im getting some pinks installed in my blob and i got offered to have them drilled (something to do with butterflys)?

Can anyone tell me the gains?

Well im not 100% sure, he said when he has to install them he has to remove the manifold... so he said something about drilling and welding which improves flow?

maybe i should have written down what he said lol!

Wildly erratic fuel spray pattern I would think.
No harm in trying if you have a throw-away set of injectors to sacrifice and a tame mapper on hand to mop up the outcome I suppose.

i think he means weld the injectors to the car, either way as above run away fast.

No No no, this guy is Darren that used to work with Harvey - i really should have written down what he said this morning before i started this thread lol

probably best, darren knows what he is doing, im thinking you have not understood what he is suggesting and posted a bad description of it.

That's a different thing then. You most likely have your wires crossed.
However you have to ask yourself why people pay hundreds of pounds for upgraded injectors when it's so much easier to just 'drill them out'.

Standard 550's work just fine as they are, if you're not pushing the limits.
