Whats usually done on a 60k service on 03 WRX?
Can anyone tell me whats usually done on 60k service.
Cambelt and spark plugs have been changed recently before I bought the car. Different front calipers were also fitted within the 12months, so would of had brake fluid aswell id assume.
So I asked to get it booked in for the following to be done, oil and filter, gearbox and diff oils, coolant changed, and fuel filter change.

so other than the spark plugs, and brake fluid, which have already been done, its just the air cleaner element, which is the only difference from what im having done anyway ?
Theyre refusing to stamp my book unless I have the full service done

well ive just called them back up and asked to give me a quote for the additional bits to be changed done aswell. But they just said only thing they can do is give me the invoice with no stamp.
When I received the car, I didn't get a service book, just invoices/services sheets from the specialist that carried out previous services, although the service sheets have been stamped, when I bought the car I was wanted to get fresh service book and get it all stamped up correctly just a tad annoying really I guess

messaged him when I got home from buying it after had better look through paper work, he said he never received it himself, my own fault really, just completely forgot to ask at the time, when he had shown me the invoices etc

£330ish for oil, filter, gearbox/diff oil, brake fluid, coolant, screen wash and something else, cant remember what something minor anyway, plugs were changed few months ago so not doing them

some how managed to sheer my locking wheel but, unsure if its the tool itself or what, and extra 2 hours to swap my calipers over apparently. Purely took it to them as theyre on my door step and quoted me originally a reasonable price, which is a first but seems as if the bill will be going from £210 to now over £400

oil and filter where only 2months and 500miles old as i said when you bought it lol
calipers upside down??? what the hell are they on about lol
brake fluid was changed 2months ago also when brakes where fitted
coolant was fresh 2months ago too when the engine was out
i would say change the gearbox and diff oil though that was my next to do
definatly take the car somewhere else mate,sounds like they are pretty useless!

well the original plan was to get gearbox and diff oil done but thought may aswell just get engine oil done at the sametime. Coolant I was unsure of so just added that on anyway.
But not 100% what they meant by the brakes, receptionist just said they cant bleed the brakes as there on the wrong way round or something along those lines, so im assuming she meant calipers on the wrong way, but from pics ive taken of the car so far they seem to be on the right way.
Even if they weren't I cant see how they can justify an extra 2 hours labour just for that, as they said they'd have to get them changed over and bled, but bleeding the brakes was part of the other quote I was given for the work, and should take 30-45mins tops to swap calipers over.

I can probably see a for sale ad shortly. Calipers are seized on apparently so have to be heated up to be removed, air chizzel has to be taken to the broken lock but to get wheel off which said they will most likely mark the wheel so much for a mint set of wheels I was planning to sell soon, my geo that was done by scooby world monday is apparently a over the place, I have a small water leak on turbo banjo which requires turbo to removed, honestly thinkin off giving up always seem to have the worst luck with cars nevermind

I also have had a bit of a hard time since I bought the car a couple of moths ago. So far I have put an extra £1000 into the car since I have had it. But now she is back on the road I don't regret it. Nothing drives like a scooby

Well I had an Evo before hand and I can see selling it was probably the worst mistake but live and learn, think I'm better off sticking to a metro at this rate. Don't mean to seem arsey to fuming how I seem to be throwing money away at the mo

IMHO they are filling you full of shìt, take the car away from there would be my advice, I can get to every fitting on my turbo without having to remove it, they have to remove all the fittings before the turbo even comes off!
Lock nut I would smash a bigger socket over, using an air chisel wtf or use a proper locking wheel nut removal tool if they had it, caliper bolts seized soak them in a penetrating spray then try giving them a little heat gently work back and forth and it should free up, very trivial bits they are so for a garage to be having issues would have me quite worried to be perfectly honest!

Probably bit late for the wheel, as they've probably already done it, don't thing you'd get a socket over the lock but as it's has a shape embossed on it that the lock key fits into.
Thing is do I get any come back with this as I probably not have a damaged wheel aswell as lock nuts. they said they've been over tightened. Also things like geo setup do I have a leg to stand on if it's been done wrong by scooby world and they over tightened the wheel bolts? Also why wouldn't of scooby world noticed my calipers if they were on upside down?
