Afternoon all hope everyone is well? I have a question after a long and arduous process I finally have the funds for a new motor. My decision is as follows:- I have max £10,000 to spend after mods or car with mods and want around 400/400 more if possible (wink,wink) and can't decide what to buy 3 options I'm currently deciding on are:- UK WRX STI (maybe widetrack but not bothered),JDM WRX STI preferable Blobeye or the darkside and an EVO 8. Can't decide I plan or driving all mentioned cars when I get the chance but I'm just looking for advice or suggestions please as I'm struggling. Thanks in advance Craig.

Thanks for the reply alcazar. I'm edging towards the Evo 8 but I was hoping for a few more replies before deciding but the response has been poor. Never mind maybe if I posted the topic I raced a...... I would of got more replies lol.

I had nearly the same options when I've just bought my new car (STi Type Uk) although 400hp wasn't my aim, I'd rather have a good car than good hp, lol! I choose the scoob because the servicing costs of the Evo was far more and the mpg of the evo's is sub 15 where as the scoob can regularly achieve 20+. Also in my opinion the subaru sounds nicer more of the time not just on power and as I spend most of my time in town and on the work run at low speeds is far better in my book. Don't get me wrong the Evo is a very good car, my bro had a 400+ Evo 8 and that was awesome but for me the scoob won me over, wha ha! Oh and my bro as he has a scoob too now hope this helps?

From what I've heard, you'll get the 400/400 easier on the Evo... but £10k will be the minimum you will spend on a tidy car.

Similarly you may struggle to get an STI JDM for £10k, and the mods needed for 400/400 will be more expensive than the Evo.

The UK widetrack may be your best chance, 7-8k for the car then 3-2k for modifications to make 400/400.
