Default Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80

Hi all, anyone used this before?

My driver seat runners were going very rusty and horrible where the two bolts go in nearest the driver floor mat.
Passenger side is fine.

Been meaning to get to it for ages, and finally rubbed them down and hit the areas with Hydrate 80.

07 plate Hawk.

I'll be painting the areas tomorrow, but can anyone say if they've used this stuff and it lasted well?

What black paint should I use? You can't really see, but maybe a hammerite paint?

plan on using it for the same job, and some of the underside. interested how you get on.

Hammerite would work well!

I've got quite a big bottle of it, and really overcooked how much I needed for the job - as you can't then chuck the rest back in the bottle.

I applied it two coats about 40 mins apart and it's dried quite smooth. Done a bit on the bolts too as they were getting rusty. The threads are fine, but the washers and spring washers needed a quick rub down.

Looking forward to seeing if it's a permanent repair, or just for a few months.......

Is it just the drivers side on yours aswell, or both sides?
