Ideally somthing that doesn't generate a lot of dust either...

I'm currently running the NDX bluestuff from Godspeed, no problems with the other than the knock when going in reverse due to the backing being a mm or so too small. I think I'm going to try ferodo next

Kevlar fast road pads, very well priced and work well: http://www.superhids.co.uk/brakes/br...ront-set-.html

I run something completely different now. I used the pagid std pads for a while. But now I'm on Carbotech XP10 pads. initial bite when cold but not as much as the std pads but when warm they don't half anchor up well, Downside is they are horrendous for dust and as mentioned cold bite isnt all that great

Having gone from Ferodo DS2500 to Performance Friction Z rated pads I will return to the Ferodos next time round ...
The DS2500 fit perfectly ie dont clank about in the calipers because they don't fit quite right, they are a solid all rounder. I should have stuck with them. The PF pads are noisy, cheaper, and prob work as well - but the noisy aspect does wind me up from time to time.
Ferodo DS2500 are my choice.

Rob if you want something that works from cold then you'd be better off following Mark's example and getting some Pagid greys................
