Any way to stop turbo boosting?
Strange question I know, reason I ask though, is I have a 321t to replace the vf35 already on, however the map isnt till dec 17th.
Due to all the rain we've been having lately, I'm not sure the weather will hold up nearer the map, if possible I would like to fit the turbo now, but obviously I dont want to damage the engine.
I read an old post about rearranging the pipes on the turbo, but cant find that thread now.
Does anybody know if there is a way to stop the boost coming on accidentally, or is it just a case of fit it, drive slow to avoid boost?

I think unless your try to give it beans it will be ok. If you drive carefully and get a bit of boost accidentally then I don't see that doing any harm.
It's quite easy to drive off boost anyway you can bring the revs right up to about 3500 rpm without getting any boost if you not flooring it etc.
