Hi guys & Gals I know this is going to be a Long shot, But i am seeking out my old 2002 subaru impreza Bugeye WRX

The car is blue and has the Private plate L66 KET !!!!

I am desperate to get in contact with the person who is now driving the car, to cut a long story short my mum bought me the plate back in 2005 and i lost the car back in 2008/9...

Now i would desperatley love to get my plate back as my name is Lee Ketteringham and its the only thing i had left of my mum she died in 2010..

I have been trying for years to locate the car or to see if anyone knows the person who owns the car, I still have 1 of the keys and alarm fobs plus some old MOT'S etc ...

The original Plate for the car was SD02 JHE

Have you done a search for the plate to see if it's still on the same car? If not the do a quick text check and it'll tell you the car it's on.

Thanks Dave yes i have checked it against MID and the DVLA Tax checker and both say its on the car, So kinda hoping someone knows the car lol

 

What do you mean 'lost the car'. ????

 

I had the car on finance with a girlfriend, we split up and she didn't want the car so didn't pay the finance or give me the option as she knew I loved the car. So to be a pain she let it repossessed, hence why I couldn't get the plate off

If you're struggling via here I believe you can contact the DVLA and ask for the details of the current owner if you explain the situation. I know it works in reverse for tracking history of older cars so I see no reason for why it would work this way round.

 

I very much doubt DVLA would be even allowed to give that kind of information out to the public.
