Default good sounding exhaust

can anyone help.im after a better sounding exhaust on my 07 sti.the exhaust appears to be standard apart from the backbox which looks like the vortex.i want it louder with the deeper rumble. cheers

scoobyworld afterburner raptor along with a de-resonated center section and a full de-cat...................

altho my neighbours dont like it @ 4am when i go work

I have a TSL group n backbox, best exhaust Ive had, had a prodrive which sounded good outside the car but too quiet in the car, Scorpian suzuka which was very loud. TSL best of both

hahaha like ur style.i wa thinkin of a new centre section n first cat leavin the downpipe in would that make it louder? or if the missus allows a blitz nur spec r

removing any of the cats will make it louder mate.just changing the center section will also make a difference as long as it is de-resonated.

blitz nur spec are loud i just dont like the type of sound they give off,more raspy than others.the raptor is alot more deeper-really gives off the burble on tick-over and on boost it sounds insane

You might be worth looking at Cobra Exhausts, you get a nice deep rumble out of them...I have a Haywood and Scott, and did on my Type R as well, the noise is just perfect, throaty round town and quiet on the motorway.

I did have a blitz on my Type R when i first got it, I drove the 5 hours home, and my ears literally bled. No joke.

its the burble im after so i think its rapter+de res centre+first de-cat hopefully that will be enough to upset the neighbours lol

Yes mate, your correct. I'm thinking of putting 1 on my classic with a 3" centre section so hopefully that will be loud enough.

it is a quality item,it even comes with a "bung" to make it more quiet..........i "bunged" that in the bin
