Default Anybody fitted a MD321T

I have a billet 321t I need to fit, acoording to this post from a few years ago https://www.scoobynet.com/656901-exp...1-turbo-8.html

there are some lugs that need grinding away, could anybody shed some light on this please? Just want to make sure I have a rough idea of what needs to be done, so I can set enough time aside and get tools ready etc.

Also, the braided oil feed with the banjo, I take it this replaces the factory hard pipe, and the banjo goes into the block?

(car is a widetrack blob)

Any advice very much appreciated

Hi I believe it was the older compressor covers on the very early versions of the 321T that used to hit the block - needed the bellhousing fettling a bit - but the later ones should be bolt on.

Not sure about he banjo bolt but they are different sizes each end so should be easy to work out which one goes where

Fitted mine on my widetrack blob. Careful which one you buy they do 58mm and 76mm inlet sizes, standard is 58mm. If youve not done it befir gibe yourself a couple hours. Most tricky thing I found was getting the inlet rubber on lol...

i had one on my classic with a 2.5 semi close deck block and had to take a little of the block away for it to fit but was not much and dose not affect block in any way and car made 454 bhp 462 torque at a safe 1.5 bar boost this was the old type turbo with 76mm inlet

when mapping it was sucking a reinforced silicon pipe shut so had to make a custom hard pipe for mine

Thats a great result, what did you use to grind the block away?

fitted a MD321T non billet on my hatch and had to carefully grind the lug off the block. I just used my die grinder and carbide burr. Mine made 460bhp 500ft/lbs on straight v-power

Ive grinded the lug but a bolt on rear of the compressor housing is hitting the left hole for the intercooler bracket, Ive grinded this a little bit, but wondering if I should grind it all off?

Will the intercooler bracket be stable with just one bolt?

Also, there is only around 3mm space between the turbo and bottom of the inlet manifold, is this enough space to shove a samco on?

Thanks guys
