Microsoft have issued an update which puts the Start Button back, which is er.... a start.
I'm amazed at why they completely change the 'look and feel'.
People get used to Windows 95/98/Me ? - we'll completely change things with XP.
XP finally sorted, you get Vista and 7 ( but at least there's are Start Button and Menus ).
Windows 8 - well.
Or are you saying it's a larf to expect 8 to be sorted by January (in which case we definitely agree ) ?
Win8's interface was changed so much as its primarily for the phone/tablet/touch screen/surface market. Which in itself was a bit of a blunder by MS, as most people still use Windows or want to use Windows on a desktop. Hence why lots of people have stuck with Win7.
