I would fit the pump as your original one is now getting on for being 17 years old, so it would be a good idea.
Also the 3 port is a good idea as it will allow for better boost managment

Yes, you should see between 270 and 300bhp at a guess.
Surely you knew that when you decided on the TD04 Hybrid?

I suspect the TD04 will run out of puff before 300bhp. Your 440 injectors may limit you after the turbo. With different injectors & turbo you probably could have got over 300bhp. BUT.. the hybrid TD04 will give you great turbo spool at low revs and will make for a very nice car to drive.

Good luck!

Rather than chasing figures try chasing a well sorted great driving car.

With the mods you have it'll be a great little road car regardless of the bhp. Add the fuel pump to the list along with some handling and braking modifications

thoroughly agree, I would imagine switching to a td05 16g would be good for 300bhp, your 440's will sustain it but get a walbro pump in there as your standard one isn't going to provide and cause major problems in the long run,
also id look at probably an alcatek and remap - depending on budget.....

Hi thanks guys. Im not really bothered about chasing the bhp.i was told that 300bhp is a good figure to aim at and will make a nice little car to drive. ill be getting a uprated fuel pump and a 3port boost solenoid.

You don't really need a 3 port boost solenoid to be honest.

Or a massively modified 550hp monster 0-100 in 7 sec with ALS, LC, Flatshift and Traction control which you still have to have a go in matey

How true Andy, I think people overlook the capabilities of esl. In nearly all cases a stand alone ecu isn't really needed and like you say, esl works very well on your test car.

And yes, I definitely need to come over for a ride soon. Been meaning to for a while but you know what its like chap

Not just my car, here is FastJaps/Racedynamix ESL managed Wagon vs Ken Block. I think the LC works pretty well being as we were 300hp down. With the flatshift turned on against Kens sequential that would have been seriously close.

Yea, I know what you mean, busy here too. Give us a shout when you are in the area, or we could sort another meet at the Ferry Boat.

I put mine on the dyno yesterday, thank you Clive Atthowe Tuning, Tested 282.6 bhp engine 219 T the wheels, not highly modded either, straight through pipe, remap and that's all so far. Although they did mention the ATF ratio was a bit lean.

Best get it remapped then! To be honest most mappers will set it slightly rich to try and stop detonation which could damage your engine internals.
