Good deal or paid too much?
I recently got a Subaru Impreza Sport AWD (1999) Wagon forthe winter. Tow bar fitted, private number plate, 4 months tax and MOT, 85,000mileage, no performance mods, great bodywork, red-orange paintwork immaculate, all electrics working, no warning lights etc. The only work that needs doingare two tyres.
Paid £1,100.
Have I paid a fair price, or is the car potentially worthmore? Or have I over-paid?
Apologies no pics at the moment.

Sounds like a good car for the money.
Practical, spacious, not too bad on fuel, nice mileage, non molested etc, and ought to be reliable.
My only question would be what's it been towing? Used for towing often? Clutch ok?

Sounds like a great deal to me, its obviously been looked after and you couldn't ask for a better winter car
now after winter you must convert it to the way of the wrx

hi, sorry to hi jack your thread, but I have a similar question as im looking for a Scooby and thought it better to add to this one than start another "whats it worth?"
anyway I know classics are going up in price, ive seen this one that a car dealer is selling, I know he's got to have a profit in it, but I was thinking £1800-£1900, what do you think?

Thanks for all the good feedback. I was thinking of reselling after Winter, but I might just love the car too much.
Took for my first drive over the weekend, goes like a dream from 0-50, really quiet too, guess I'm used to driving a diesel, really like the acceleration and gearbox.
Slightly disappointed in the acceleration abilities over 70, but I won't be doing that speed too often any ways.
KwikFit quoted me two rear Goodyears for £160, so I might splash out on them.
Everyone at work has told me I'm an idiot for buying a subaru because of it's poor MPG, but Subaru's have been in my family in the past, and everyone has said the same thing, best engines in the world.
Any ways, I'm babbling, thanks again all.
