Default Pcd... Offsets.. My heads spinning

Hi, guys, I am 2 weeks into subaru ownership and I am looking for another set of alloys to put winter tyres on... I have a blobeye wrx pop with 18's on and am looking for maybe some 16's probably 17's.
What offset issues should I be looking out for and also will a set of P1 alloys fit?
Thanks guys

P1 alloys fit straight on, your looking at around ET50-55 as std and PCD 5x100

be careful as very early classic alloys or the later Forester/Legacy alloys dont have the spoke clearance for the 4pot caliper

Yes, as the 06 WRX has the same brakes.
