Hi my uk 2000 1999 failed its MOT on having windscreen wipers overlapping my sun strip to much, I was woundering if I could fit smaller wiper blades/arms as suggested by the MOT place. Other than that no problems well chuffed. Worst case I will remove sun strip

Personally I'd just remove it.

how is that a problem, you cant see out the sunstrip anyways

 

Confused why that's a problem but prob solved so no more issue

 

I can only think the sun strip was in an area that intrudes on the sweep of the wipers.

Advisory would have been ample.
Imagine taking your car there with a straight through exhaust!
