Default Selling a car abroad

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has sold their scoob (or another car) abroad?
I know my old scoob is now in France but I didn't sell it on there!

Any ideas if it's safe enough to do?!
In other words request a deposit and then balance on collection?

Thanks, Sam

My old one Type R went to sweden, I took a deposit by paypal, and meet him halfway between my house and the airport to save them time. he paid my petrol, train back and paid the remaining in cash. They were two of the nicest fellas you would care to meet.

A friend of mine sold his blobeye to a guy in Sweden. He got a plane over and we met him near Gatwick. He checked the car over, paid cash and off he went. I think he said he saved £6k over buying the same car in Sweden.

He's told me he needs copies of the v5 and a signed sale contract to get the car into Germany?
I'm just a bit worried!
Hopefully it won't come to being sold abroad as got 3 viewers in the next 3 days! If not mr blue is going to Germany!!
