Hi guys
After I changed my gearbox oil the shifts are harder and now sometimes it scratches going into 4th. If i make a less than slow-medium very positive shift, it scratches.
I have Liqui Moly 75W90 GL5 oil in there now. I have no idea what was in there before. It was way overdue for a change, the oil looked like sh|t.
The car has 121 700km on now. It's a 2004 STI, with a 6-speed NON-DCCD 'box in.
My rear diff has no heat sensors on. I see according to sites other countries' STIs came with these sensors. Do I have an old spec car?
Do I need a GL4 oil in my 'box ?
