Been offered this scoob for a grand including my vectra xp just wondering is this a good car to pop my Subaru cherry with?

All depends on the condition really, the price he has it up for is about right, but the way he's worded the AD just sounds like a "rag it on a daily basis" type guy, I may be wrong.

Also, at 103k if the clutch hasn't already been done I'd be checking that.

Best bet is to go drive it and see.


EDIT: If it has PPP it should have had the prodrive exhaust, but he says he's fitted a scorpion so you can't check that, I can't see the blue intercooler hose that it should have either, I doubt he has the certificate, no mention of that.

Be dubious.

Orchiari rear spoiler isn't cheap so someone has spent money on it......debadged too.

Depend on condition really, Blob WRX pretty much de-tuned even with PPP so even if driven in a spirited manner should be OK.

By spirited I don't mean thrashed though..........

If it's still got the PPP map then it should be fine as it was designed for prolonged engine life apparently, which is a claim I have no reason to refute since mine is on 100k and still pretty sweet, if however it has an aftermarket map then it's a flip of the coin as to how long it will last.

My opinion though is, if it's made it to 100k then it's not a bad car.
