6k on the car, only had it a matter of weeks and my bill up to now is in the region of about £700. I plan to spend a good couple of grand on the car though over the next few months tbh. Front end respray to get rid of the chips, wheels and tyres, new stereo, new gearbox at somepoint next year. Set of KYB shocks and subtle lowering springs, set of Zunsport grills... the list go's on and on.

On my Type R around £9k four of which I got back when I sold loads of bits off it, some of which i'm now buying at less than half the price I sold them for, so i'm quids in there

The blob wagon which I bought using the £4k from the Type R hasn't cost anything but fuel and a couple of oil changes, although that may change depending on what I decide to do with it, not sure if I want to keep it or not at the moment, thinking about getting a cheap run-around and putting the Type R back on the road, going to wait till after xmas before I decide, choices choices.

Since I bought it over 13 yrs ago including orignal purchase and servicing aprox 25 k Only

But scary now as the showpiece engine project ,and arches repair and a Couple of dints removed and 2 wheel to refurbish
I estimate £3000+ on a car worth £2000

So I think I have problems with my brain functioning correctly

Out of pure interest I added up all the receipts I have for my car from new including servicing and a few mods etc but nothing major, from new to date the total was about 11k, 97 UK turbo, so on average the car up until now has cost around £650 a year to maintain, which isn't too bad I guess!

Nope that's from when it was brand new to now, I guess I've spent about a grand of that myself. Add them up and see what you get!
