Default 08 sti optimum alignment settings

Had my car for coming up 4 years, no issues with tyre wear and when the alignment has been checked has found to be within tolerance.

However I'm sure handling can be in approved by dialling in some optimum settings.....

Suspension wise the car is standard - is there any tried and tested figures I could give a go?

Cheers guys

Jim

From the Prodrive spring kit:
Minimum / Preferred / Maximum

Front camber: -0*50' / -0*55' / -1*00'
(for very aggresive use take this to max on adjustment approx -1*30')

Front toe-in (total): 0*08' / 0*10' / 0*12'

Front caster: 6*25' (Referential value)

Rear camber: -1*35' (Referential value)

Rear toe-in (total): 0*16' / 0*20' / 0*22'

Thrust angle: -0*01' / 0*00' / 0*01'

Had the alignment checked today on a hunter machine, the guy couldn't get more than -0.56 deg negative camber on the front where I was hoping to get at least -1 any ideas why this is the case?

Hi Jim

I would suspect you will need camber bolts at front and at rear you will need camber arms(they're little bit more expensive than camber bolts)
