What do you guys use, hose or jet?

Personally I wouldn't go near mine with a pressure washer, would be scared of damaging the paintwork.

My door seals are brilliant as well so I wouldn't want to be blasting water into the car.

Stick to the hose pipe

Pressure washer every day.

You're far more likely to damage your paintwork with a hosepipe because you'll then start washing the car with a mitt/sponge/whatever on paint which is more likely to be home to film and grit which will the be rubbed into your paint.

Pressure Washer gives you much more chance of clearing that debris before ever touching the car. Should be used at a 45 degrees angle to the paint, and won't damage your wax/sealant never mind the paint.

Nilfisk C110 can be had for £50 when offers are on, plus £30'ish for a snowfoam lance - you're well away

unless your using an industrial pressure washer then i think the likes of the little nilfisk/karchers are fine and safe for home use, good for blasting under the arches and you can fit a snow foam bottle to them aswell

As above there's no way you'll damage the paint with a pressure washer unless you're being a complete tool. Keep more than 12-18 inches away and you'll be fine.

Added to which you can get yourself a snowfoam lance which will help you with the prewash side of your wash routine. Either that or get some Valet pro citrus prewash. spray on with a simple hand spray bottle, leave for 10 minutes to dwell then use the pressure washer to get rid of the majority of the bonded contaminants before you do your usual wash.
