Question what clutch do I need

Hi all need help with my clutch... it started slipping last night on the way home from work mainly in 5th gear at around 3k revs also fof the past month or so pulling away was juddery unless revs were kept up at about 2 - 2.5k so I am assuming clutch has had it, anyway I am looking at getting a new clutch but was unsure if I needed 225 or 230? Also would I need to replace flywheel? Car is a 1998 subaru impreza turbo 2000 uk model and covered 117,000 miles, as far as I am aware neither clutch or flywheel have ever been replaced any help would be greatly appreciated as I plan on buying new parts tomorrow and a very helpful scoobynet user has agreed to help with fitting as due to christmas money is a little tight this month. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL SCOOBYNET USERS... hope your not too hung over

The original clutch fitted by Subaru will be a 230mm Exedy one.

The 225mm Exedy one will also fit and work fine, I recently changed mine, I chose the 230mm Exedy one as it wasn't much more and seemed to be the best idea to swap like for like.

You do not always need to replace or skim the flywheel despite what you will get told by whoever is selling you the clutch, go on the condition of the flywheel and then either get it skimmed/refaced, leave it alone or buy a replacement one.

That's all for the 5 speed WRX btw, I assume that's what you have?

Good luck
