Aye, this was my run in with a stupid woman driver doing a U turn round a central reservation
My head was under her rear bumper when she started to drive off, I had to chase her down the road on foot to get her to stop

Op - she "didn't see you". That's an admission in itself.
However, at the risk - indeed likelihood - of hijacking the thread might I ask why there's posts that seek to denigrate womens' driving?
Iirc proportionately more accidents are caused by male drivers.
Imo more 'stupid, unnecessary, avoidable' accidents are caused by females and old farts but nevertheless us males are involved in more accidents.
Or does anyone differ?

Hmmmmmm, my personal take on a couple of your points...

Because, from what I've seen with my own eyes it seems that most women "drivers" cannot "drive".
Iirc proportionately more accidents are caused by male drivers.
This probably would be statistically correct due to the fact that there are a lot more male drivers than female

On the other hand..
I was in the unit one day when a bloke comes in doing a right drip, saying my Lizzie had "carved him up" on a roundabout in our 3 litre Capri. Her version was that he'd decided to race her, and she wasn't having any of that.. He got to told to "go take some lessons" before tangling with her again.
As she seemed keen, I entered her in a race at Silverstone using my track MG. She hadn't driven the car before and had never raced before. She went out and won it, getting the "driver of the day" award.
She never bothered again.
