Just a quick question to ask if anyone knows where i can get a custom size number plate for the front of my car around 470mm x 105mm

...and yes it will be legal according to the DVLA requirements...79mm x 50mm letters with 11mm borders and 33mm between groups, Ideally with the BS and manufacture detail in the centre of the plate...

Or is it a case of buy a full size one and trim it to suit as long as i can keep the legal details on hence why i want it in the centre and not offset like a lot of plate companies do.

ive used craigsplates and the service and finished product was spot on.

 

There's been a few threads and Rob Day also has a good reputation.

He produced legal ones on a 'small size' plate for a JDM (not 7 chars tho').
I'm having him do one for my JDM (again, only 6 chars on my plate).

Just sold mine to a guy in scotland for his lad but got another on the way, Its still got 7 characters so wont quite fit it on a 16" plate(406mm) legally so it looks like i`m gonna have to put it on a standard 520mmx114mm plate and trim it to 460mm x 103mm to suit but keeping the manufacture ref and BS number.

Anyone know how the import law stands, Looks like it might have changed as there is no mention of it ?
