09 hatch interior rattle?
got a seriously annoying rattle, sounds like the metal part of a zip rattling, coming from the passenger side. ive had the mrs in the car and she cant find it. (not sure if she actually knows what shes looking for) ive emptied the door pockets etc but cant find it and its doing my nut in. anyone else had this? also, the parcel shelf squeaks a bit. as its removable there's springs in the one end, anyone taken this bit apart before as im tempted to try and put stronger spring/s in there?

My wife's '08 WRX hatch has a squeaky sound from the passenger side, but generally only for the first few miles. We've traced it to the nearside A-pillar plastic trim, which definitely makes a noise until the cabin warms up.
Might be worth checking that and eliminating it, if nothing else?

Only 1 rattle?
Had 1 front near side @ 75mph + that was driving me nuts, pulled most of the removable dash out & had my son try to locate it with no luck, added padding to as many free moving bits as I could find, still no luck. Totally unrelated removed the dealer fit Subaru hard mud flaps and fitted Rally Armour ones and the rattle has gone Lesson - sound reflects & travels!
The parcel cover sprung end is just held on with 2 screws & is easy to dismantle, you don't need to take the cover out.
I fitted anti rattle tape between the aluminium and plastic end to stop it rattling & then I also put the tape round both ends where they fit in the side trim mounting holes to stop those rattling... Works a treat but doesn't stop the cover flapping
All that said I've resigned myself to adopting Salsa-king's suggestion

I have a my11 saloon and mine makes a noise as well only when it's cold. Same as TIMH near side pillar post plastic squeaking against the window screen. Small piece of soft Velcro pushed between plastic and window solved problem
