Got an aftermarket wheel and seen a few boss kits on ebay buy most of them say non airbag. Are they actually different from airbag ones? The only thing I can think of that will be different is that he airbag one will have a resistor in it? Will the splines ect be the same? Cheers

 

You have to get the boss that specific to your model car I would personally buy from demontweeks or the like,as ebay can be very inconsistent with there parts and the quality of them,unless you know exactly who you are buying from.SJ.

 

It has to be exactly for your model .
There is a many things like - airbag boss got bigger hole for connectors ( not only resistor )
Holes for steering angle sensor are in different position to different model
I got momo boss from Demontweeks , and when they sent me 1st boss It was from different model- the same year and it didn't fit , so I had to exchange it for other one

If your car got steering angle sensor don't move or turn it - if you do it may cost you a lot of money ( about 500quid ) for new one . It's very sensitive part which can not be moved !
