Impreza 2010 Hatchback headlamp washer cover
Hi,
Replaced my Ageing 2003 Black Impreza Blobeye STi type UK with prodrive and dealer mods last year for a 2010 Impreza hatchback model.
This morning noticed that the drivers side headlamp washer cover was missing and now when I use the headlamp washers the drivers side one now acts like a water canon and fires off the water straight in front. Tried my best to compare the 2 sides (1 on the passenger that still has the cover on)to see if it's just the cover that has come off or something else as well.
So a couple of questions:
1).. Are the covers known to fall off on this model?
2).. If I managed to get a replacement cover is it just a straight clip on or is there something else that's needed that directs the nozzle towards the headlamp? As I want to make sure I get the right part(s) to replace, which I believe the cover alone from a dealership is about £48!
Unfortunately I have no tech manual for this model so not sure how this works.
Thanks in advance

Although I could see any scrapes on the bumper so unless the plastic has broken away with wear and tear maybe? Oh well. So looks like I am just looking for the cover then.

Well just enquired directly with IM and it's going to cost me £40.80 for a replacement. But will have to wait between 2-3 weeks to have one delivered from Japan as there are none in the country.
