If you sell it with ear defenders, then they reach £200 on ebay...using the bung hampers performance unfortunately (used to have one) best thing I ever did was change that. When I picked up my first Impreza from Cornwall, I drove 6 hours home without stopping, my right ear bled. Literally.

Yes I would think it affects performance but will help not wake the neighbours. Take it out down the road

I wondered about performance as it has been mapped so only want to change the box for resonance. The ninja boxes dont sound as loud? Other thing the other half aint keen on car not wanting anything else to be thrown out for ;-)

One of the best sounding exhausts if you ask me along with the scoobyworld hayward & scott afterburner vortex. If you want performance but not intrusive go for the scoobyworld racebox, it has a nice sound on throttle but pretty mild on tick over. I got rid of my afterburner and replaced it with the racebox for the same reason as you,the neighbours!

The ninja isn't as loud as nur spec but if you watch the vids of ninja with & without the bung fitted,it will give you idea of how much they reduce noise. You might be able to find a video of someone with a bung in their nur spec

I would say if you change backbox for another performance one with the same size pipe but is a quieter one,I don't think it would affect performance but if you start adding mufflers in the centre sections etc. That would affect performance

Don't think you would like the ninja, especially on motorways. Check the racebox, its made by same people as ninja. Its what scoobyworld use on their own car

It's not de-catted, and still has the resonated centre section. Sounds nice don't get me wrong, but it's nothing like the nur spec

Well got the car and fitted the baffle well that did a lot of good lol. Quite surprised that the blitz baffle isn't marked blitz etc and so expensive for what it is.
It does sound amazing though real proper lol

I have a Blitz Nur spec and I have to agree its ridiculously loud. In a way, I do feel bad for my neighbours waking them up every morning between 6am - 7am then again, I don't because it brings my such joy having an epic sounding subaru! Price wise, I brought a 2 month old Nur Spec for £300 on ebay.
