Default Can you fit later steering wheel on bugeye?

As title, I'd like to change my wheel for a later 3 spoke sti 1, is it possible ? Has anyone done it ?

Cheers, did you keep original air bag or do you change the lot ? Is it bolt on and connect straight up or is there messing about to be done ?

Make sure you get the later clockspring.
If you are unlucky, there might be some small wiring to do with the airbag connectors.

Make sure that when releasing the old wheel, you leave the central nut on about three turns, or risk getting a face full of wheel when it suddenly comes free........

I have a WR1 wheel on my classic.
