If you use quality discs and pads in the brembos then you dont need K-Sports,

Ive seen many do the swap you have mentioned and used the k-sport basic pads. And the Brembo's if using quality discs and pads will be better imho

Performance friction two piece disc and pads is all you will need to transform your breaking set up,in my opinion it's the best brembo caliper set up bar none and will be more then enough to cope with various power levels and use.SJ.

What are the PF z pads like for road driving? Do you need to get them up to temp?

There ok but like most performance pads they come into there own once some heat is in them, where as a standard pad would be fading.SJ.

Big brake setups like K sports are great if you're going on track where repeated heavy braking requires better cooling, but for road use Brembos with good pads and fluid are as good as anything.

Depends on more factors I would say at least.

If you want good setup on Brembo then you will need spend little bit more than on K-Sport,just PF Discs will set you back at around £500 and plus pads and you are close to again price of the K-Sport

K-Sport I've run on the wagon and we are loved them, with DS2500 we've hate them, but with PF Z-Rated pads, braking has been transformed, this is probably down to our driving, just due DS2500 need little bit more heat than PF pads

Really depends on the driving and if car is more track or fast road and I agree Brembo with right pads and fluid are for great upgrade on the classic or new age

Hi Stu

Really depends, what you want from yours car

I've preferred K-Sport on our wagon, but you will need take to account New age WRX wagon is much heavier than classic and on yours Brembo with right pads will and is enough if car is only fast road with occasional track days

If you have chance to swap yours Brembo for K-Sport I would swap them, jsut my recommendation, stay clear from K-Sport supplied pads, they're horrible and if its budget PF Z-Rated pads and speak with Alyn@AS Performance about the best pads and fluid on yours,I've preferred Z-rated pads, great bite from cold and not dusty as DS2500

This is a quote from Ian at Godspeed...

" I can supply a kit with AP CP6600 4 pot calipers ( with proper dust sealing ) , 330mm grooved discs and bells , alloy mounting brackets and hardware for £1100 inc vat.
We are currently testing some AP CP5200 copies that are proving good , and will be looking to put a 330mm kit together for around £900 , watch this space "

Your Brembos if in very good condition will sell for good money.
