its probably a wrx painted wr1 blur or loads of second hand wr1 parts bolted on and the rest of te car painted to match

reg check says its a WR1 ..............so thats worrying !

 

Its an aqua blue wrx or even a gx (rear brakes don't look correct for a wrx even).

but its got WR1 bumpers, wings and several other parts, hence the two different subaru blues.

God knows what it really is though, 9,495..

Just noticed its not even got the sti scoop.
So chances of it having the aluminium bonnet look thin.
I would like to know what seats it has also.

Its got a wrx bonnet scoop, missing silver grills and wrx wheels.
I'm betting it was a wr1 that's been involved in a front end smash and sold for salvage and had the decent bits removed and replaced with wrx parts and a cheaper repair done on the front.
Wrx,sti,wr1 wings are all the same.

sounds like b0llocks to me, there are issues in fitting the wrx rear discs on to an sti axle as the handbrake drum part is smaller on the wrx.
the fact it has no interior shots rings alarm bells too, wonder if it has dccd still in it or the black sti interior.

its hardly a genuine wr1 now though is it as half of the wr1/sti parts are now missing and to put back to wr1 spec would cost £1000's

i wonder if thats true though, its looks in very poor condition too.
i cant see anyone offering that for a car that looks so bad in a picture, it must look awful close up.
if a dealer was offered 7200 for that shed id think they would ****** the buyers arm off, its not even worth half that.

I would like to know the trade price he paid for that lump.
It would only make about £1300 in bits.

 

Surely there would be legal ramifications if Mr "knows **** all about Subarus" buys this WR1 then finds out its only 25% WR1 and 75% basic WRX....The dealer IMO is bang out of order trying to pass this car on as, let's face it, something its really not.

This car could be a case of someone re-shelling a WRX.......A friend of mine broke a CAT D WR1 last year and sold the shell, not sure what number it was though.

 

i think you need your head testing buying a genuine wr1

im not so sure its even 25% wr1, it looks like it just has a wr1 boot lid,spoiler,side skirts and front bumper spats oh and the gay colour,the rest is wrx
