Is the car locked when headlights flash once or several timeafter pressing fob.

I am in a flat and cant be bothered getting dressed to check

2 flash - locked

haha i know mate!! Just finished a 14 hour shift and lying in bed. Remember it flashing a few times and central locking clicking a couple of times.
Think when I unlock it the lights flash once and unlock doors

My indicators flash , not headlights . Even after a 14 hr shift I still couldn't sleep if I wasn't sure if the car was locked or not !

It's telling you one of the doors is not shut properly, so you will have to go check.
