Default 2003 wrx wagon with pop how econmical

Hi there guy s looking at a 2003 wrx wagon as a family wagon how econmical etc are they running cost s etc?? Also gear ratio s eg what revs is it doing at 80 mph on motorway.

I want something solid reliable 4wd petrol and estate I can't think of anything better!!

Don't buy a WRX if you're after economy... But the solid, reliable, petrol, AWD, fast and estate boxes are all ticked!

IIRC about 3k RPM at 70, thats a 5 sped 'box.

yep, about 3k at 70mph

on a run it should do mid 30's, mine does 36mpg on a long run. but around town and short runs it's mid to low 20's, usually about 22mpg
