Default Newbie question about anti lag

Just a quick question about anti lag, is it in anyway beneficial on a car, heard stories that it damages engines?

Can overheat exhaust valves and turbo, crack manifolds/downpipe really not much advantage on a road car other than scaring old folk at bus stops lol

When youve got some dick 2" off your bumper and you switch the anti lag on and nearly shatter their windscreen it helps. Also chucking out flames tends to dicourge people getting to close so i would say it can help.

No. Detrimental.

Ask your self why proper motorsport cars have to rebuild after most races or rallies.

It's just another "Oh my cars got anti lag which is brill, but does now't except draw attention to my small ***** and me bruv's innit". And as for having a flaming exhaust, just f*ck off to a McD car park with the rest of the idiots .

Hi there

If its beneficial on the road car,I would say no

On most road cars ALS is only feature, which is more for show than purpose, due this mappers mostly doesn't map aggressive ALS on customer cars

Mild ALS shouldn't cause any issue on the car,but most of the companies which selling or making turbo, they don't warrant use of the ALS and you can void warranty use of ALS

Thanks,Jura
