I'm no expert, but I think it is good that he is not in a hurry to sell.

its a widetrack uk blob, 9k for a mint one nowadays, granted its white and has a few small mods but 15k is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy overpriced.

That's what I thought, I'm not 1 to hinder someone's sale but was curious as I have the same car.

I'd have Said above 10k due to the low miles, small mods and the fact that it's white and there rare. In my opinion I'd put a value of 12-12.5k as I've seen low mileage blue ones go for over 10k

And blue 1's are 10 a penny.

No disrespect to them just a lot more common than others

I'd say between £10k-£11k

I've just paid £8k for a widetrack ppp sti 05 in black , standard car with 65k

Yes it's got a few bits on it , but mods add next to nothing , that just leaves colour and mileage in its favour and can't see much more than £2-3k mark up for that alone tbh

I priced mine at around £11,300, 05 in white, 45k, immaculate condition, 414bhp which I though was fair, £15k is a **** take IMO that's y I was asking what ppl think.

Well seeing two white Jdm's on Hursts site for £12990, they will be rougly £2000 above the UK STI's prices as there Jdm's.
This brings us to £10990 for a UK equivalent from a dealer, obviously a dealer is slightly more expensive (let's say a grand), due to a warranty and the business overheads. The cars get a thougher going over to pick up on a faults before being sold on to the customer and is covered if the gearbox goes bang on the journey home for instance.
A private sale white Sti is worth roughly £9990, a grand more than a blue Sti because there ain't many white ones about. Which makes a blue, grey and black Sti in excellent condition roughly 50k miles £8990.
Please bare in mind a freshly imported Jdm will be in superb condition underneath compared to the UK ones, but will have to be undersealed for future protection from the dreaded salt.

Obviously mods can alter this price somewhat, increasing the price of the car or can have a negative effect as some people might prefer an original example.

This is just my opinion and hope it doesn't offend anyone as your opinion won't offend me.

Doesn't offend me mate, like I said just curious to see what ppls thoughts were. I agree with u on the jdm ones being worth more. The one at hurst cars does however have almost 20k more miles than this one, so would put abit back on it's value compared to the jdm IMO

It's worth what someone's daft enough to pay for it.

Unfortunately, as with many of these cars, it's probably worth a lot more to the seller than it is to the majority of (if not all) prospective buyers.

I agree the seller is always going to think its worth more as it's their hard earned that's looked after it but in the current market it's true value is determined by the market it's being sold into and for a rare low mileage, low tax rare couler car it's got to command a premium over other similar cars that are for sale even if it's lower than what the seller thinks it's worth?

It has an exhaust and hks filter but no remap, would have thought that should knock some off the value
