Default Guide on how much my classic import is worth :)

Morning all. Just after some feadback from others to see what people think my car is worth. I bought it off here from another member back in November 13. Some details about the car, i say brief as i tend to babble on.

-96 P Wrx import in 230 White.
-Milage 81000 miles
-Service history, an A4 folder with plenty of reciepts, bills, mot's etc.
-Car was imported in 2008.
-Cmabelt replaced for piece of mind and to rectify an oil leak. Replaced by Group B which some off here know.
- Mot July 2014 and taxed for 6 months.

Modifications-

Imported late MY 1996 V3 WRX in white currently making 1.3 bar peak boost so around the 300bhp mark, mapped by Duncan Graham (RaceDynamix) Large capacity Top Mount Intercooler.
HKS Induction kit
Forge Recirculation DV
IHI-VF-24, 440CC injectors, Walbro 255 ltr pump,
Full decat turbo back 3" exhaust.
3 port boost solenoid, 2.5 bar map sensor, Blitz boost gauge.

ESL daughter board fitted & mapped by Duncan Graham.

Brake master cylinder brace.
Front alloy strut brace.
Team dynamic 17" Pro Race 1.2 in Gloss black with Khuno tyres
Braided brake hoses.
Suede steering wheel
Blitz boost gauge in A-pillar
Alloy front bonnet
Alloy front wishbones.
Godspeed discs with pagid pads and four pot calipers. Brake fluid replaced with ate bluestuff.
Whiteline anti lift kit.
Recently new standard kyb shocks and eibach springs

Condition wise i would say a 7/10, its an old car and does show signs of it, few marks here and there but im ocd about my cars, ive seen worse conditioned new cars that come into work (im in the car trade)

**It has a leak from the diff**

From fourth to fifth it does crunch a bit, more so on the way down unless you are gentle. Its never bothered me to be honest as i dont drive like a tit on the road so there is no reason i would go from 5th to 4th like a mad man.

Overall the car is good, starts first time, doesnt use any fluids and goes very well. Any comments are welcomed

Looks fantastic, the white body/black wheels combo is a winner.

Not a chance if it needs a new gearbox and repair to the diff.
As is, I'd say £2k tops, more like £1500 to shift it.

Save making a thread etc. How much would it cost roughly to get a replacement diff and box?

I'd say easy 2+k even with diff and box gone..
It's well maintained and the best model... and spec is very good mate..

I brought my v4 with hammered engine for 2k
Good shells are getting rarer and mechanics are cheaper to fix

Was oddly just thinking that. Going to ring a company I trust and see how much they will charge to fit a replacement box etc

Looks nice and clean but its still a buyers market out there and scooobs just don't seem to make the money there worth, hence why there's loads of good cars out there being broke as there worth more in bits

I would of thought around the 2-2.5k if you was to sell it, maybe 3k if you got all sorted first

Thanks mate. It's a nice enough car, but your right they are not the easiest to sell.

It's a WRX not an STI, that wants a gearbox and diff, so if someone can DIY then your looking at 500 notes. White is popular so i'd say £2k absolute max for someone that really wants a white one.

My suggestion is if you want to sell fix the problems and you might get as much as £3k with the history etc, so worth fixing for an extra few hundred quid.

It's going to cost £200 plus fluid etc, no labour as the lads are doing it in work. Should there be any movement gearbox end from the driveshafts? I have stuck a thread up in subaru general aswell.
