Default Newly Paid Member and a shout out to Sky Insurance

Hi all I'm Jason

I'm a recently retired sqauddie, managed to break myself on duty so just enjoying my time off while I recover!
Been on the site for a while but not been really active. Decided to take the plunge and go paid subs as the community here seems fantastic ! Recently changed my Impreza Classic sport to a Blob eye WRX and I'm over the moon with her ( pics will come soon ). Based in Eastbourne which seems to be miles from most of the clubs in particular so joined the Essex club as was nearest sort of, hope to come and join in at a meet that seems to happen fairly regular!

Also just wanted to say after changing my car I needed to do the painful duty of searching for car insurance. Now at 27 and with 8 yrs plus no claims a WRX wouldn't be too bad I thought, how wrong was I !!! Good old meerkat site the worst quote I had was 6k plus for the year :O . Called Sky Insurance that was mentioned on this site, spoke to a decent adviser who was extremely helpful and managed to make my day by only quoting £600. So a big recommend for them if your going to renew .

Nah long past that now mate ! I've had all the help the apparently can give me so just been for my final med discharge, and out let out into the world lol. Basically told I'll never recover fully so to get on with it so If you ever meet me or see me it's probably the only Subaru WRX driver with a blue badge haha!!

Not really sure yet ! I'm currently getting the car up to my standards, refitting the discs and pads next week as aren't really up to stopping the car at higher speeds ! And giving her the once over like bulbs spark plugs etc.To be fair this is my first turbo Subaru so not in tune with what you can do :S . I know it already has been tuned/modded/chipped to just over 300bhp but looking through the pack that came with the car there is not much in the way of receipts for everything i can actually see that's on there already so propably need someone in the knpw to have a look for me before I start creating a shopping list lol . Is there anything you would recommend for a base level must have for the list ?
