These are the other type of seats. Less bolstering.

No sure if ALL Type UK come with these seats as there are uk/euro models with the same Jdm narrower seats.

Sorry bud its the way they are, im 6ft 4"

I was going to try some Bride or Recaro rails and seats one day, but pretty pricey.

Mine is an '03 Blob JDM, not the seats above, the ones with the grey patch in the front centre of the bottom part

you would have to get them custom made, plus then you might be to far away from the wheel with your arms and the arm rest would be of no use!

I think im too close to the steering now tbh.. Armrest is useless for someone my height anyways

your not that tall in fairness, so it does sound like you have a problem with the runner, I can use the arm rest and dont feel to close to wheel at all, would be nicer being a bit further back, but its not critical

Sounds like you havent got the seat lowered all the way? You need everything back as far as it will go.

But yeah, tis a rally car , its not a low slung coupe style fit on the seat unfortunately

The problem with the seats you have in the facelifted Blobs is that they sit too high

I think thats what the problem is.. If it dat down a couple inches more it would be comfy i guess. Is it the seats are diffrent or the runners?

Pre facelift newages sit about an inch and a bit lower I don't think they are interchangable though as from memory the mounting point is higher, well it was on my Spec D

Yup, I hated the seating position tbh. I since bought a S202 and the seating position is fantastic. Not that that helps you lol but it was a big PITA in my old Hawkeye.

Just seen your from Wolverhampton Hope your a Wolves fan!!

There are quite a few people on here with scoobys who are taller then you, I know Big Fud is 6"5 or there abouts and ive never heard him say anything about the seats!! Maybe he could tell you which are the most comfortable seats as he has had over 30+ Impreza's over the years.

53 - are you saying the bug eye seats are lower? as although I do fit in mine (im 6ft 4" so i think the guys seat is foobarred!) a little extra space would be nice
