I loved my classic like one of my kids and was gutted when it went, it was running around 300+bhp and torque and when you put your foot down it felt quick and was a lot of fun, but my new car is awesome it has the ppp pack which is nice (not loud enough lol) but it feels so much more solid and planted and handles like a dream compared to my classic. I have federal rr's on my new car and they just grip the road and just devours corners lol. Although it doesn't feel as quick as my old car my wife and my 2 oldest kids say it is but it feels a lot more smoother when accelerating I just want a new exhaust (don't know which will be best) air filter again not sure to go panel or induction kit then a remap and I will be happy for a while lol. Overall I love the new car a I'm shocked saying this I may end up loving it more than my classic, maybe!!!

I sold a WRX PPP wagon mapped at 290 (not in the same league as yours ofc) it had the STI TMIC and green panel air filter, then I had set my heart on a classic STi of sorts but a member on here who has been a huge huge huge help (MattyB) pointed out a new age STi bug (which I'd not considered) and in the end I bought it and in comparison to the wagon it is on a different level entirely, I'm so happy with it (cosworth panel filter btw) - running approx 343bhp ATM but adding needed parts before a 400bhp upgrade (turbo / injectors / fpr and maybe fuel rail). I like the interior in that the air con works lol and there is as yet no rust / rot to worry about. I think a classic would be a big shock interior wise until I put my foot down but for now I'm happy sticking with newages. I think now I actually own one that the bugeye is vastly underrated it doesn't take much IMHO to make them look decent and ofc they are totally unique. I don't see any here at all.
EDIT: I had the Blitz Nur Spec S (not full blown R) on my old wagon and it sounded fantastic but it was way too loud, ridiculously loud, the missus wouldn't get in it as she said it drove her nuts after a while with the cabin boom on any dual carriageway / motorway, I wouldn't buy one again. My daughter could hear me coming home from up the road before I even pulled into the drive lol. I think I'd go for something a little more subtle personally.
