Here is the latest set up.

As you can see there is a free spot, possibly 2 for the Saturday or Sunday. The cost is £100 for the Full Monty. A lot of cash but is your Scooby not worth it for that end of "Summer Special Look"

Saturday 10th August Falkirk

1. S Man 9.00am Sat
2. Stefan Ostadal 1.00pm Sat
3.

Sunday 11th August Falkirk

4. Dave Allan 9am (Flexible Sat or Sun)
5. P1 Doc Malcolm 1pm
6. Chas (my mate) (Flexible Sat or Sun)

Monday 12th August Ayrshire

1. 9am Bladerider David Duff
2. Possibly Gordon Shek - PLEASE CONFIRM SOON
3. Possibly JasonO - PLEASE CONFIRM SOON
4. Possibly Mur 112 from Troon - PLEASE CONFIRM SOON

If you want directions to my house for the Saturday or Sunday please drop me an E mail. Quite a few Scoobies coming along for a look over the weekend, promises to be fun.
I just hope the weather keeps up. If not I have arranged for a Marquee in the front drive to keep our beloved Scoobies dry.

I have invited the legendary Mark Underwood up for a Scottish Weekend to give my Scooby some treatment. Probably within the next few weeks. Can I get a show of hands who would be interested.
1. Who wants their car "done" by the man himself. Various options and costs for this.

2. Who just wants to watch him at work

3. Who is interested in buying some products from him.

Once I get an idea of who wants to get involved I will firm up details.

Why not just jump on the imminent group buy and do your car yourself.
After the initial treatment, it's easy peasy to maintain

Cool

John - yes it is the same/better quality of stuff as Zymol/Wax Wizard. Look at www.swissol.com (though it's all in German at the moment). Also some in English at www.scoobyecosse.com

All - depending on what you want done to the car, I would guess that Mark would only be able to do two or possible three cars in a day. To give a car "the works", would take the best part of a day from what I have heard.

A dis-used petrol station isn't the best idea, as there wouldn't be any facilities there (ie tea/coffee/toilets/plentiful supply of water etc).

If there's enough interest from the Aberdeen/Dundee area as well, it might be worth getting Mark up here again for a day.

I might be interested for Mark to slap some wax on my car, I 've bought a load but haven't yet used it

I would be quite happy for Mark to use my driveway and garage as a cleaning bay for other Scooby owners for a day or so in Aberdeen if it helps!

Any takers??

Cheers,

Rob.

Ok guys how about this.

The weekend of Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th of August. he could do a maximum of 5- 6 cars depending on whats to be done. Basically the two packages are.

1. The "Full Monty" basically everything inside and outside including the engine bay cleaned. This includes a Scotch Guard protection for the seats. Also fully waxed with Wax Wizard products . The cost is £175.

2. "Nearly the Full Monty" Everything as above but not the inside of the car for £100.

I am sure Mark can arrange other combinations on request.

Not cheap, but I guess everyone who responded here knows it would not be so anyway. All I can say is your pride and joy will never have been looked after so well and is probably unlikely to ever be in the future. After a 10 minute chat with Mark he has you drooling at the mouth saying "Stop enough just come and do my car pleez"

Location is difficult but I live in Falkirk and have a large double drive with stacks of parking available. The only issue would be our glorious weather as I have no garage. Anyone with an alternative let me know. The wife is away that weekend so "T in the Garden" will not be a problem lol. All are welcome even if it is just popping along to meet the man himself and seeing how a pro does it.
Now I know some of you "Frozen Northerners" above Dundee might have not want to travel that far so I will see if Mark wants to venture a bit further perhaps on the Monday, Tuesday to do a bit of his magic when you guys are working.
Thats it for now, drop me an E Mail or post here if you want to go ahead and I will arrange the rest. I will be at Kames on Saturday if anyone wants a chat.

Dave

I'm still interested in getting the outside/engine bay done on my car - would you mind finding out from Mark whether he feels up to the challenge ?

If necessary I'm sure I could sort out some photos to ensure he doesn't need the whole day just to do my bonnet !!

Cheers

Steve
