The state of my bonnet is becoming beyond a joke now. I'm looking for someone to repair the stone chips in the Aberdeen area. Also 2 small (shopping trolley?) dents. Can anyone recommend someone who does a good job at this, preferably mobile who can do it at my house?

Cheers

Alan

Jools had someone take some dents out of his car recently (came to his house). I'll see if he can remember who it was.

Stonechips - they all look like that. Even if you get them repaired they will return. Most people use the coloured waxes to mask them as best as they can, and then only get them sorted properly if they are selling the car.

If you do get a respray, then it's worth getting extra coats of lacquer on to try and protect things a bit better.

Big Boy...if you want a pukka job put it into a paint shop, as my experience with the at home jobs, look okay to start with, but don't really last.

Cool

If you can remember who it was that did the dent job that would be great John. I know they all go that way but it looks really bad now. Having said that it still doesn't look as bad as a bugeye

Big boy, what's new? I really didn't want to go down the full paint job route. Did that for my last motor (Catalunya) and it took them 3 attempts and I still wasn't happy with the finish.(I had to point out to them it was the wrong colour first time.)

Did you get some pukka discs sorted out since I last saw you? Up for a real challenge soon I hope. Having said that, I'll be running quite a bit quicker next time too.... more mods? who me?
