Is anyone from Scotland going to Nick Wilds Funeral on Wednesday 7th August in Oldham? I dont have my new car yet and if anyone is going down in their Scooby and could give me a lift I would share petrol costs. Read the thread on the main board about the Tragic Death of this Young Guy, I did not know him but I do think all Scoobiers in Scotland who can attend should go

Unfortuneatly I have another funeral to go to that week of another talented young person who's life has been cut short a little early in a horrid car accident so won't be able to make it down.

My thoughts are with both families....

Ian. I'm still off on Wednesday but will let you know on Monday if I am 100% certain to go.

 

Getting a day off midweek to attend a strangers funeral can't be easy for people but hopefully a few of us Scots can make it.

I'm gonna try to juggle commitments to allow me to go to make the trip down.

It was someone just like Nick that saved my life 3years ago by donating their organs.

Guys thank you Finally someone seems to appreciate what I was really trying to say!!!!! |This young guy gave his organs so that he could perhaps bring life to someone else Who knows it could have been YOU!!!!!! or Me!!!!! who needed them . Surely some of us should go to the Funeral and represent Scotland, I dont have my Scooby yet or I would drive down and I think it would be fitting if the Scottish Contingent went in a Scooby or better still scoobies I will share fuel costs if anyone can give me a lift.

I did not know the guy and I am fairly new to Scoobynet but I was deeply touched by his death.
