I want to get my car on the rollers again to see if the exhaust has made a difference

Now I know there were some organised ones earlier at STAR, which i couldn't make

Is there any plans for some more as it's much more interesting if there was a load of peope there, people to talk to and cars to look at etc

I want STAR to do the suspension work on my car so tying it all in together would be good as i will be coming from Aberdeen!

Decided 2 hold fire on no.3 dyno session m8, as the number for peebs commiting was getting less n less. A few peebs said yes
to the last couple and when confirmation was required they dropped out. What we don`t want to do is lineup a day and not be able to fill it, otherwise Jim & the staff at Star may feel we are wasting their time IMHO.
What I will say though is if there are between 10 & 14 folk prepared to commit, I`ll happily arrange another dyno session

At the moment though, there`s the SIDC Knockhill track day on the 28th of this month, so we don`t want to risk jamming 2 much in2 a small time frame otherwise folks might have to choose between events and as u know, most folk attend everything they can given the chance.

do you get discounted rates if you can guarantee 10 or more by the way?

understand if people are busy and if youv'e had a car on the rollers recently then the figures aint gonna be much different!

Yeah, agreed rates with Jim based on 10+ cars running.
Ideally 13 - 14 cars.

The last couple of dyno days (organised events) the agreed discounted rate of 1 run for £30 or 2 runs for £40 was applied.
The std rate I believe is around £60 per hour (ish)

If u guys want 2 hold fire till after the SIDC day at the end of the month, I`ll c about arranging another 1 This`ll give u a chance 2 muster up some more interest.

OK folks,

That`s 5 lets have another 5 - 9 an we can have a whole day
In fact might even run "red" b4 the surgery

I`ve provisionally arranged one for 5th Oct as suggested.
Now here`s the catch, we can do it on a Sat morning with 5 - 7
cars however they need 2 b guaranteed, as this is the busiest day for Star. So what i`m suggesting is we say "go for it at 5 - 7 motors" but a deposit is going to be required. That way in the event of a no show there`s a kitty we can pay Star as a gesture
of compensation for allocating us the time instead of garage jobs.

Is every1 ok with the above?

and i could have had the corsa without cage 'n seats.... but there app 1 week away or so.... so i told them to hangfire! App its beat the guy's cavy turbo upto 120 on the way to Trax.... cant complain..... it brakes like **** too.... 300mm 4pots on a corsa!! hehehhee

Wouldn't mind joining in on this one. Don't think I've anything planned for the 5th Oct at the moment

Been planning to get it RR'd but was waiting until I got the downpipe fitted (had to wait and get the MOT out of the way first ). Still need to get it fitted but the MOT is passed now so should be done by then.

I might make the 2nd weekend in Oct

I need 2 x 63mm bore 90 degree bends
1 x 70 mm 45 deg bend
1 x 51 mm 90 deg bend

I've got them on order but 10 days delivery then I can start to fabricate the end tanks !!

Oh, and they must be rated at 5 bar

I'm 2-10 this week, 6-2 next week
