Myself and steve wilson (sorry forget his login-name) are thinking of having an edinburgh mini-meet sometime in the next few days. Any takers? We're not planning anything special, just a short drive, wee chat and maybe a beer at a local convenience.
Kind of hoping you'll be up for this sipie so you can show us some of the special roads you've found

Anyone want to come forward with suggestions of a time/day/place. I'm available all weekend and probably any night next week so I'm quite flexible

We won't able to make that I'm afraid - Diasabled Ski Club Night - but you could always pop up to Hillend and say hello.
We normally head down the hill for a pint at the steading on a Monday night - so if your still there 9pm'ish - we might see you.

The 7.30 was just an idea..... I'm flexible re time, so 9 would suit me fine. Whatever suits everyone else really...

Is the Steading's car park really up to handling a group of Scoobs ?
Don't want me pride and joy dinked by some old codger after his 20 afternoon pints

It's big enough and I saw a TVR convention in there once and if an old codger knocked one of those it would do more than just dent
I think its an ideal provisional time/day unless someone says otherwise.

Would love to come to Crail - but have other commitments - so a quick pint on Monday would suit me fine.
If people want to - they could do both ?

Blue, I'm going to eat you alive......but not yet!! Still got to get my downpipe on and I don't want to become a crail regular cause I'll kill my clutch(s)! I'll be there when the car is ready though
What do you think you could get now anyway?

Fighting talk eh? You'd better hurry up Kenny, had a few offers for Blue so she won't be with me much longer.

If that should happen I'll just have to eat your times alive or latch a tow rope onto your EVO/or similar such replacment car
Can't believe your selling your car, it's the nicest buyeye I've seen. Why don't you keep it and turn it into the fastest in the country. There aren't any seriously tuned buyeyes in the UK that I've heard of?

Get on the bypass and come off at Lothianburn junction. Head towards the big hill (pentlands) and at the foot of the entrance leading up to the ski centre is a nice pub, the steading. Simple as

Well it's my birthday next week as well - so we will have to have a few pints to celebrate (orange juice -of course!).
