Ease up Robin.....if he's gone to the trouble of sticking a 2.0 turbo lump in a corsa then it stands to reason he's into his cars too. On that basis, he's well within his rights IMO to cross-polonate with other BBSs

sorry guys, but i WONT be going to kh or the like with "hot hatch" cars like these, they are just a bomb waiting to go off,
my car (and a 99% of scoobynetters cars) are to valuble to see destroyed by a disposable shopping trolley
scoobys, evos, smarites, skylines, vr6s ect i will share the track with ANYTIME, as they are designed to do it, not to go for grannie scrogins pension and cat food!

Ok, we all take the mickey of the nova brigade but some of these guys actually take the time and the money like the rest of the guys on here have done to get their cars just they way they want it. Not everybody has an indisposable income to throw at their cars!

you miss the point, can you imagine what the corsa would be like round kh? my wrx with all the stuff done to it and on slicks still slides about! unless of course the corsa is some factory built race car.
i wonder what else has been done bar the power plant? do i hear brakes? hmmmmmm??????
do you remember the 2nd last kh when there were 16valve novas there? did they not get told off for being typical "hot hatchers"?

and no i am not a snob, i just want to keep away from hot hatchers

i admit that on the corners and roundabout i would get eatin up BIG TIME. BUT on the other hand on the straight it's a completly differant story.

and for the record i have modified every ie suspension, brakes etc etc id be mad not to chance anything.

if i did get beat fine but at least i tryed.

I'd love to test that 'in the straights' theory sometime A lot of the supercharged Saxo's claim to eat Impreza's but in recent - albeit fairly inaccurate - tests they didn't get 60-100mph times even close to my scooby or equivelent P1's, WRX's. Still, I want to play with the king saxo....matts 250bhp beastie

I don't 'cruise' but I have passed the calton hill guys sometimes...usually after picking my girlfriend up from the train station as we like a nosey at the modded cars. I work in Haddington and live at Barnton so can often be seen on the bypass

 

By the way was I behind you a week or so ago on Princess Street. There was a corsa in front of me matching your description and it took off down princess street (wasn't going silly fast though) I didn't chase as its too busy a street.

 

Could be me! Often in Edin takin my girl back to Uni. Not too sure where Crofter's is though? Keep your eyes peeled S*** JGA, Red MY99 with HKS S.Drager. (Plenty more stuff under my bed though! )

I'll keep an eye out next time I'm through.

Your car does seem to fit the bill....If I recall the corsa we saw has lexus style lights and minimalist styling. What colour of alloys you got...I'm stretching my memory but I'm sure the Princess Street corsa had white ones.
