Just decided to go on the Sunday morning and was wondering whos leaving on sunday and from where?


is there a convoy leaving from Glasgow?

There's quite a few folk going down on Sunday but I don't know from where or when. I'll be one of those folk and I'm just waiting for details soon. I'll let you know when I find out.

Maybe this is the time and place to set a difinitive time/place etc for anybody who wants to come down then.

No point in saying meet at Coatbridge cos going by Tuesdays response nobody wants to go there.

How about Bothwell services?

 

that sounds fine to me just put the address into travelmanager
it says it should take about 3hours to get there.What time u thinking of leaving.i have also printed off a route description
i was thinking of going on tuesday to the show case meet i will
bring some copies of the route.

 

Unless things change, I'm planning to leave Aberdeen on Sunday Morning at about 6am and head down the road for the day. I can do Edinburgh in a couple of hrs. Which way would you guys be going?

 

Zander, your way is ok, M74/A66/M6 no probs.

As far as Bothwell services go i think all of those from up north can join up coming from the M73 Cumbernauld or indeed anybody from the West coast can go M8/M73/M74 meet up with us at the services and off we go.....Zander leading of course!!!

I would say leave about 7am giving 3hrs to get there and also at present there is road works on the A66.

Sorry to invade your scottish thread but if you get to penrith take a right for keswick 1 mile and meet the cumbrian convoy (lots) at 9 AM for the trip to lightwater

 

What times the meet at bothwell sevices. Its only 1/2 hour from me.

 

We were going to leave about 7am.

 

just to add from what lordy said the cumbrian group are meeting at penrith auction mart at 9 o'clock and heading for scottch corner for about 10. the more the merrier for a convoy should take about 2 hours to get to penrith from glasgow

Could be three modded 7's and a quick Sti5 on the road, but we might double up on the driving and be in two cars. One of the other boys is working a 12hr shift pattern and one more goes offshore 6am Monday, so we see how they feel. Another two cars from our group in Aberdeenshire will be down there already.

Bothwell services, follow these 5 simple steps and you will find it.

1..A77 onto Eaglesham moor road.
2..Eaglesham to East Kilbride.
3..Follow the signs for the M74 towards Strathclyde park.
4..Join the M74 NORTHBOUND take the Uddingston cut off go over the motorway flyover and re-join the M74 SOUTHBOUND and the Bothwell services are about 2miles on the left hand side.
5..Leave in plenty of time>>>>>>>>>see ya there

 

Dont forget to come to Scotch Corner at 10 AM andjoin up with cumbrian/tyne tees scoobs 100 !! to convoy the last 20 miles

We will be going in to hamilton (For a Opitmax fill) on the way over so i think it will be via Strathaven not over the moor's
