Can not see any Elises on the list, so N1 TUT would be happy to tag along at the end of the field.

Still like the idea of KH in the morning and the rest of the day @ Crail. Could pitch a tent @ Crail?

What happened to that idea, was it a non starter?

Scoty,

Maybe able to organise something for later in the day or in the evening with Willie if peebs want to camp over for the RWYB on the 14th Sept (it`s no special event though jus normal RWYB).
But ATM it`s been decided main event of the day Sat 13th Sept is to be Knockhill trackday in the morning, schedule still being drawn up as to exactly what events we`ll have at Knockhill (as well as track and an area for show n shine).
We`re working on other events for KH & the afternoons stuff now

Lordy,

I`ll get the details down 2 u as soon as the schedule is finalised What I will say is though, the date is definately 13/09/03 and first port of call is Knockhill race track for definate.

Pete

You can add another Elise to the list as I'll be there as well. Can't miss a SIDC track day where the Scoobs will outnumber the Lotus gang :-)

Just curious......

The main debate in the other threads for a venue was Kames or Crail. Where did Knockhill creep out from?

What kind of ball park figures are we looking at price wise for the day at knockhill? How much roughly for track insurance? What about camping and food to get to know the troops better?

Dougster,

The Knockhill diary show the 14th as Scottish Championship motor racing, so the Saturady afternoon will probably be practice for this.
Formula Fords / Legends / Caterhams that type of stuff.

Good, Mark can practice with my car.
I bought the full kit and never even opened it yet.
I'll try to have it done for the Winter.

Cool

Just a quick update folks,

The event is to run from 08:00 to approx 14:00
Entry is to be free.
There will be raffle tickets on sale at the gate and all through the day with all proceeds going to charity. So we`d appreciate it if everyone at least buys a couple of tickets on their way in

As the proceeds of the event are for charity there will be wrist bands for available if you want to have some pax (passanger laps) on track. A wrist band will be available to those who make a charity donation (please give generously) and that entitles you to laps in as many pax cars as you can cram into the day

There`s work in progress ATM on further activities which we are trying to secure for the day, further details will be posted as availble.

A number of competitions will be running on the day,
these are to include :
1. Impreza show and shine
2. Best modded Impreza
3 Best Impreza ICE install
To name but a few, with prizes sponsored by various vendors.

We have received a good response from vendors thus far and a list of attending vendors will be available shortly (for all you folks itching to spend some hard earned)
Incidentally if you are a vendor that we haven`t approached yet and would like to setup a stand please contact me, John S or Doug in the first instance.

Our to man John is currently working on a press release for the event so keep an eye on your local papers.

In order for the event to run smoothly we may need some extra hands, so if you would like to help out on the day please forward your name to one of the afore mentioned.

Thats it for now folks but be sure, this event is happening and it`s upto you how McBig it really is, so spread the word to everyone you know who has a Scoob

L8r
Pete
