Firstly, I am so glad that everyone enjoyed Saturday. As has been said previously it takes a fair amount of organising and a great job was done by John and Pete. I'm just happy that we were able to provide a few new experiences, such as the 4x4's which went down a treat.
The format for Sunday is as follows.....

Track is open pit as per Saturday. Cost£50 payable on the day to Knockhill. It will be a 1st come 1st serve basis but I have spoken to Knockhill this morning and if people want to book then they can contact Knockhill direct.

Kick Off 1pm
Drivers briefing will be between 1-2pm with track start at 2pm sharp.
Please can we have the same exceptional standard of track behaviour as Saturday. For everyones enjoyment.

4x4 Experience
This will run from 1pm-6pm. Tickets available at T&C Unit £3
Everyone who took part on Saturday loved this. It is an amazing experience.

Grp N Rally Experience
We have managed to secure our Grp N car for Sunday
George MacDonald has kindly offered to take passengers round the track in the Grp N impreza
Tickets will be available at the T&C unit and will be drawn every hour. Once you have bought your ticket it will also go into a draw for a days testing in the car.
I have done this with George in the forests at Aboyne and it is an experience worth spending £3 for the chance.

Laser Shooting
Corporate Shooting Scotland are attending and will have the Laser shooting simulator set up. As per last year we will have a prize for the top scorer of the day. £1 donation aint too much to ask?

Instructor Passenger laps
There will be a Lotus Elise available for pax laps as well (hopefully) as a Prodrive STi8 and our Prodrive WRX

Anyone wishing to have a few laps with the instructor in these cars can see myself at T&C unit

Our Technicians will be on hand to perform diagnostics and answer any queries.

All proceeds are to go to Town and County's charity MacMillan Cancer Research

Finally if anyone needs further info please don't hesitate in contacting myself at Town & County 01738 444455

See ya all Sunday

Regards
Russ

Hi guys,

I was at the event os sat, unfortunitly the scoob was'nt run in at this time so track time was not an option.

However, She has done her 1000 miles +, and i would be intrested in having a bit of fun on track. Having never taking part in a track day i'm a wee bit, kacking it, some any advice would be welcome.

Is there any cost in having the instuctor holding my hand fo a while, and any of you more experianced guys would be welcome to hold my hand for a couple of laps too.

chris...........

(Edited to say)

Gav !! if your reading this, register, and reply, more than happy to have the nova king sit in. (he he).

Cool

Chris,

Theres no charge to have one of the KH instructors out with u 4 a wee whilst. It`s actually a good idea to have them take you around a couple of laps in u r own mota 2 start with, so they can show u the lines

I remember my 1st track day in Big Red 1, mate. It was p1551n rain, went out softly softly after the instructor showed me the lines. Within 5 laps I was kickin it 2 death , sideways n all Lurv it
I`m sure there`ll be plenty of peebs there only 2 keen 2 point u in the right direction bud.

Chris,
The instructors are more than happy to go out with newbies.
Just ask at the drivers briefing.
They will show you the right lines and braking points and remember
everyone had a first time
Go on and enjoy

Took a lot of calls today regarding Sunday. If anyone is going on track I would recommend phoning Knockhill and booking a place.
It appears that there is going to be a lot of folks there.
Remember that it is a discounted charge for the track £50.
Well worth it folks.

See ya all Sunday
